Bolos kamo, assalamu ailaykom, and selamat sejahtera to all. I send my sincere greetings from the other side of the planet as well as my thoughts and prayers. It is also good to hear about the recent positive developments in Marawi City with schools opening again and such. It was an honor to participate in financing volunteer workers who delivered care packages to Moro refugees in Iligan City during that time. Mindanao is a beautiful island and I hope to see more of it someday. It is also interesting to read about Filipino culture as well as that of the Bangsamoro people. There is a lot of genetic history ranging from India to Arab merchants, Indonesian, Malay, Chinese, Spanish, and more in addition to the original native Austronesian people there. I find it all incredibly fascinating to explore this diverse heritage you all enjoy there. My grandfather had the opportunity to aid in liberating the Philippines in World War 2 and served personally under General Douglass MacArthur. Years later, my brother and I have had the privilege of being there in the Philippines. It is truly an honor to be around them all and learn so much as well as to work along side them in several ways. God bless you all, mabuhay, and Tuhan memberkatimu.
