Over the last three days non-stop torrential rains brought by tropical storm Maring has, as what news agencies described,’paralyzed’,Metro Manila and some parts of Luzon, killing some and displacing tens of thousands of people.
Government needed to call off classes in schools. Business firms suspend work. Widespread damage to property, infrastructures has been recorded.
And as the future may seem to be vague for some of the affected residents, we only hope and pray that everyone will carry the torch of resiliency as we, together, face the challenges that may come our way in the coming days.
